So, you’ve put in hours crafting your amazing needle felted sheep, and then you notice you’re missing the curls needed to finish it off. Frustrating, isn’t it? But don’t worry! You can solve this by simply getting a ball of wool, yarn, or something similar to make your own curls. It’s a simple process and will give your needle felted animals a fresh, unique appearance. Keep scrolling down to find a video tutorial that will guide you through the steps.
It is also very calming and saves you sitting by the post box like this, impatiently waiting for your curly wool to arrive.

EASY VIDEO TUTORIAL
Here is a brief video (part 2) that demonstrates just how simple it is to add yarn to your projects. In this video, I have used a coarse rug yarn to show you the process, but you can use any type of yarn that contains some wool. The presence of wool in the yarn makes the process smoother and easier. If you have other types of yarn with wool content in your collection, feel free to use them as well. The video will guide you through the steps clearly, so you can see how straightforward it is to achieve the desired effect.

Use any yarn you have in your craft supplies; it works best if the yarn contains some wool. I used a rough rug yarn and a very soft Merino yarn to create these two beautiful sheep. If you have different types of yarn in your box, try using what you have. Yarn with wool in it tends to be easier to work with and gives a better result. The different textures can add a lovely variety to your finished needle felted sheep.

In addition, you will learn how to incorporate this luxurious art yarn into your projects, as explained in the first part of the video tutorial. I personally used a 40 triangle needle for this process because it is a bit easier to handle and work with. However, if you only have a standard needle, which is typically a 36 or 38 gauge, that will work perfectly well too. Both types of needles will help you achieve great results. The video will show you step-by-step how to add the art yarn to your work, making your projects look even more wonderful.

Happy creating. Sandy x

I would like to purchase a few things but I don’t know the price between the pound and the dollar. Would you please give me an idea on how to figure it. I need to know how much I am spending. Thank you. Pat
Hi Pat. At the bottom of each page of the website you will find a currency converter. Hope this helps.
Thanks
